Highfield offers a high standard of accommodation and welcome. Guests have their own comfortable spacious sitting room, overlooking the lawns with colour television, board games and books, with an open fire in winter. All rooms are centrally heated.

Recently awarded 2 AA rosettes for culinary excellence, The Old Forge is a seafood restaurant renowned for its superb seafood menu recommended as 'a must' by food critics. There are meat dishes available. Featured on BBC National Television, it offers two rooms, one en-suite and one with shower. There are special rates for the Thursford Xmas Show and an individual snack menu for the show.
