Tucked behind a fruit orchard, Holly Lodge largely dates from the early 18th Century with parts of the buildings going back to the 13th Century. Guest are accommodated in the converted stable block, following apparently something of a tradition.. it is said that the stables were once regularly used as a stopover for pilgrims making their way to the shrines at Little Walsingham.

Recently awarded 2 AA rosettes for culinary excellence, The Old Forge is a seafood restaurant renowned for its superb seafood menu recommended as 'a must' by food critics. There are meat dishes available. Featured on BBC National Television, it offers two en-suite rooms with full english breakfast. There are special rates for the Thursford Xmas Show and an individual snack menu for the show.
