The third Broads Green Boat Show is to be held at Salhouse Broad on Sunday 21st September 11am -4pm.

The private broad is an intimate setting for a family-friendly event which is a showcase for green products - boats, motors, solar panels and environmentally clean accessories. There are opportunities to talk to the owners of electric boats, and have a go on canoes, kayaks, pedal and paddle boats.

This is the only green boat show in the UK, and probably the world, and exhibitors are sure of a warm welcome in a marquee, with outside areas for larger exhibits, and on-water facilities for showing boats and launching smaller craft. Access for exhibitors has been made much easier by installing a gate between the area for parking for vehicles and the site.

A traditional jazz band will add to the gaiety, and refreshments, including crepes, will be available.

An electric water taxi will be provided to take visitors from Wroxham and for those coming by road there is extra parking, with good access for the disabled. Judging by past events this will prove another great day out, and an opportunity for finding out more about how to help the planet.

Admission £3 for adults, children under 12 free, £5 from Wroxham.
