Licensees Karen and Steve Fiske have built up a fine reputation for Cask Ales and achieved pride and place in the 2003 CAMRA Beer Guide and have also gained annual Cask Marque accreditation. Generally ten ales are on pump at any time being supplied from both Local and National Breweries offering brands from the well known to the obscure. The original cellar is still in use, which helps to maintain a consistent quality of serve.

In addition to the carefully chosen selection of Cask Ales the Whalebone also offers you a great wine list from which you can buy by the glass or bottle. Furthermore we have a large selection of European Bottled Beers.

A full choice of coffee is available all day as well as bar snacks and freshly made rolls.

For the sports enthusiast our television bar has Sky Sports, showing all major fixtures and events.

The Whalebone is a privately owned independant business being established 1992. We take every care to ensure you and your friends enjoy a comfortable and pleasurable experience when you visit us.
