The Lavender House is a truly wonderful experience. Many new restaurants have all the trappings of luxury but seem to forget what a restaurant is all about... food.
Here at the Lavender House our food is always top of the list: Richard is at the stove every day cooking a series of his favourites, combined with new ideas and presentations. Using local growers and producers, indeed, the suppliers are listed on the menu, you can dine on tastes and textures you have forgotten, yet adapted to make the menu bang up to date.

We aim for the very highest standards whilst not forgetting the main reason for eating out ...pleasure. Don't expect the intimidating cathedral-like atmosphere that so many top restaurants seem to radiate: we are looking to have fun, both for us and for you! Come along and see why we are so excited. Just 10 minutes from Norwich, 20 minutes from Wymondham and within easy reach of everywhere, just off the southern bypass.
