Bergh Apton Community Arts Trust presents "Midwinter Dreaming: A Play For Candlemas"

11 parishes of singers, actors & musicians will re-unite after 2014's award-nominated Mystery Play cycle to re-ignite another old mediaeval tradition, celebrating the Christmas story & the coming of Spring.

Midwinter Dreaming is a play written, performed and produced by a group drawn from the Bramerton group of 11 villages, with significant contribution from the international writer and story-teller, Hugh Lupton. Charlotte Arculus, who won an EDP Norfolk Art Award in Theatre Education in 2014, will direct the production and Mary Lovett will direct the musicians & singers.

The performances take place on Sunday 24th & Saturday 30th January 2016, and Saturday 6th February 2016.

Welcome drinks will be in the marquee at 6.30pm with the church doors opening at 6.45pm. The show will finish at approximately 8.30pm.

Bergh Apton lies just south of the A146, 7 miles SE of Norwich.
