Sandringham House, the Queen's private Norfolk residence, is open to the public during the summer months. Near to the market town of Aylsham, the Elizabethan mansion, Blickling Hall, is built on the site of the birthplace of one of Henry VIII's wives, Ann Boleyn, mother of Queen Elizabeth I. It is also open for public viewing.
