About Potters

Potters, established in 1935 as quality sugar confectionery manufacturers, is one of the oldest in England. Now in its fourth generation of family ownership, Potters manufactures a large range of handmade lettered rock, candy novelties and sweets using the same age old recipes and methods handed down over the years.


All our lettered rock is totally handmade and available in many different colours, flavours and sizes, also custom making to individual needs. Our handmade candy rock novelties range from an early morning breakfast to a basket of fruit with lots more to choose from.

For the purist, try our traditional mint humbugs - a sought after speciality, made entirely from natural products, available in bags or jars.

All the old seaside favourites are stocked. Dummies, False Teeth, assorted Lollies, pre-packed sweets and Nougat, as well as a large range of gift boxed Fudge, Toffees, Shortbread and Biscuits - the choice is endless.

There really is something for everyone at a price to suit. Come and visit our shop and factory, opposite the Catholic Church in Regent Road, Great Yarmouth.

We can be seen making rock on most days from April to September.
