EAST ANGLIA guide to RURAL and COUNTRY CRAFTS, and RURAL TRADES in NORFOLK,
SUFFOLK and CAMBRIDGE UK.
A tradition of Local Trades.
Throughout the region there has evolved a tradition of local trades and business',
that continues to this day. If you are in need of a specialist tradesman, craftsman,
or service, you'll almost certainly find one somewhere to meet your needs.
Antiques in abundance.
More than possibly any other part of the country, East Anglia offers the
antiques buyer and collector almost limitless opportunities for indulgence.
Throughout Norfolk and Suffolk, Cambridge and North Essex, there are
countless Antique Shop, and Auction Houses.
Rural Crafts - spoilt for choice.
By its very rural nature, the region is rich in Rural Crafts and Trades outlets.
Many are to be found in 'off the beaten track' localities, in the smaller
villages and hamlets. But, without too much searching, you'll come across
an array of outlets where you'll find something to suit your taste and
pocket. Often you'll find many craftsmen grouped together, within a single
manufacturing and/or retail location. These are invariably old farm barns
and outbuildings, and are often within totally rural settings. A good
example of this is Wroxham Barns, situated a couple of miles from Wroxham,
Broadland's 'capital'.
