About Fishing Holidays at Moonshine Lodge

Moonshine is a spacious, fully-furnished, self-catering two-bedroom bungalow for hire with over 10m of private frontage directly onto the River Yare at Brundall, Norfolk.

The property lies along a private 'gated' road near some of the Norfolk Broads' leading boat yards where 'day boats' can be hired or your own craft slipped, for a reasonable fee, and brought round to Moonshine's private quay.

It is also located opposite the entrance to the unspoilt Surlingham Broad, a haven for bird watchers and anglers alike. There is an RSPB sanctuary within two miles

A five-minute walk away is the Yare public house, which has an extensive menu of good value meals. Adjacent is the main railway station, which links the village with Norwich (two stops), Gt Yarmouth and Lowestoft. Also within walking distance is an up-market restaurant, food stores, garages, a pharmacy, hairdressers, beauty salon and a fish and chip shop.

The bungalow is detached, with a large paved patio and barbecue, covered full width veranda and a wooden decking area/quay heading with pontoon extension. Two cars can be parked off-road at the front.

Inside there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two singles, and each has a chest of drawers and built-in hanging spaces. The toilet and shower room is generous in size.

The remainder of the property is given over to a large L-shaped open plan living area comprising a fully fitted kitchen (with hob, oven, microwave and fridge) dining area and lounge, all giving excellent views through the large window and patio doors.

A Digital TV, DVD player & Radio, a wide selection of books catering for most tastes and a number of games are provided. The property is carpeted throughout and there is electric heating in every room. Floor, walls and roof have been well insulated and all windows are double-glazed. An outside shed houses chairs, table, sun umbrella and a bait fridge.
