About Fritton Lake Outdoor Centre - Biking

The Outdoor Centre is Open at the weekends only until October 23rd

Half Term open all week for Activities 24th-30th October

Saturdays only from 5th Nov- 12th Feb 2017

Fritton Lake Country Park is operated by the Somerleyton Hall Estate. This is open to the general public from March to October from 10am to 6pm and operates independently from Fritton Lake Outdoor Centre.

There is a car park fee of £10 to access the country park giving you access to 35 acres of maintained park and woodland, including the adventure playground featuring one of few jumping pillows and a massive fort with slides

Our on site cycle mechanic maintains a fleet of adults and children’s bike with accessories to ensure the whole family can join in. Below is an outline of our hire fleet:

Pinarello adult hardtail mountain bikes
Moda junior hardtail mountain bikes
Tag-a-long bike (fits to an adult bike)
Two seater children’s trailers (with weatherproof covers)

You can hire a bike during our opening hours, if you’re staying on site. We also offer multiple day hire.

Hire Times

We are open for hire every weekend and every school holiday from 11:00am to 5:00pm.

Please call in advance in poor weather to check availability.

1 hour – £7 Adults / £5 Juniors - 1 day – £14 / £8 Juniors - 2 days – £22 Adults / £15 Juniors

Additional Days – £7 Adults / £4 Juniors - 7 days – £50 Adults / £35 Juniors

Children Tag-along / Trailer 1 hour – Free - 1 day – £6 - 2 days – £10

Additional Days – £3 - 7 days – £24

If you’re looking for a great family day out or activities as part of your holiday then you’re in the right location. On offer to take part in without booking are Canoes, Rowing Boats, Katakanu’s, Electric Outboards, Bikes, Berg Pedal Go Karts and KMX’s.

By booking in advance you can also take part in Instructor Led Activities such as Tree Climbing, Archery, Bushcraft, Low Ropes and Canoeing or Katakanuing.

Fritton Lake Outdoor Centre is also home to Open Water Swimming, a 5km parkrun and Norfolk’s Premier Triathlon Festival Weekend plus other special events.

There are no admission prices or entry costs for Fritton Lake Country Park, you’ll just need to pay the £8 Pay and Display fee. This gives you access to 35 acres of maintained park and woodland, including the adventure playground featuring one of few jumping pillows and a massive fort with slides.
