Burgh Castle Touring Park offers the most unique setting for a relaxing holiday. It is nestled on the banks of the River Waveney next to the ruins of Burgh Castle, beautiful evidence of the Roman occupation.
Bring your touring caravan or tent and family and friends to relax and unwind whilst enjoying spectacular views over the Norfolk Broads. Whatever the season, there’s peace and tranquility to be found at Burgh Castle Holiday Park.
There are some spectacular walks in this area and although very quiet and peaceful you are just a spit away from the bustle of the coastal town of Great Yarmouth.
We welcome touring caravans, motorhomes and tents with a variety of pitch types available. All of our 32 touring pitches are laid out on flat, freely draining ground, well above flood level and there are heated amenity buildings housing toilets, hot showers, hair dryers, baby changing facilities, a spacious well equipped disabled suite, kitchenette area with freezer storage for ice packs and a launderette.
We offer standard touring pitches with and without electric hook-up, super pitches on hard standing with electric hook-up, water and waste water drainage and extra large pitches with hookups. Each pitch has room for a pup tent or awning and adjacent car parking.
There are also static caravans and lodges on the park.
If you prefer to eat meals out rather than cooking yourself, try our lovely riverside pub, restaurant and cafe, The Fisherman's Inn. The freshest ingredients are prepared daily.
With a huge variety of attractions nearby, from blue flag beaches to historic market towns, our tranquil family run park is perfect for your stay in Norfolk!
Advance booking is highly recommended as we operate electronically controlled vehicle access to the park. Our park is open for tourers from Easter to the end of October each year and we look forward to welcoming you and your family.
It is with regret that we do not allow any pets on the park.
