Butterley House is situated on a family run arable/beef farm on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, in the heart of the Waveney Valley - between the villages of Geldeston, Kirby Cane, and both Beccles and Bungay, only 3.5 miles away.
We overlook open farm land and are in a very quiet spot. We have been doing Bed & Breakfast for over twenty years, and very much look forward to seeing new and returning guests.
On the ground floor, a double/twin room with en-suite, shower, WC and basin. This room has its own sitting room with a TV and French Doors opening onto the garden, with a table and chairs for guests to use.

The Local Area & Amenities We are situated between the market towns of Beccles and Bungay, both 3.5 miles away. The cathedral city of Norwich is 15 miles away and the Suffolk coast - Lowestoft 13 miles, and Southwold 16 miles.
There are numerous places to eat out within a 3 miles radius. Our local village Kirby Cane hosts an Italian restaurant "The Olive Tree" which is superb. The village of Geldeston has two pubs, The Wherry Inn and the Lock Inn, which is down by the river in a very isolated position.
We can accommodate up to 5 guests as bedroom 1 features a double and single bed.
