East Ruston Cottages
Holiday homes and cottages available in and near Stalham through East Ruston Cottages
The Tender is a ground level, self contained apartment forming part of a large, flint fronted Norfolk cottage. The accommodation is full of character with low ceilings, oak beams and lovely ceramic flooring throughout. It is yards away from easy walking on the Weavers Way. The owners live in the main house and are usually on hand for help or advice should you need it.
The Tender welcomes dogs AND cats! Short breaks available in out of season months
The Lodge is a detached, single storey conversion recently finished to a very high standard and sleeping up to 4. In a very quiet part of a quiet village, it's away from the road but very close to great walks on the Weavers Way. Lots light and an enclosed garden with decking make it a great summer choice whilst modern heating and insulation make it cosy in winter too. It is wheelchair friendly and has a young and flourishing vineyard next door.
The Old Piggery
The Old Piggery is a single storey conversion of an old farm building, finished to a high standard, using many reclaimed materials and is furnished and decorated in a simple, rural style - much loved by many regulars and their dogs. Pamment flooring with washable rugs and no stairs make it very easy to live in. It is next door but one to the famous East Ruston Gardens and a short drive to many sandy, dog friendly beaches.
Rooster Barn is a beautiful barn conversion at the end of a private drive in a quiet part of the already peaceful village of Trunch. The conversion has been done to a very high standard and is mostly on the ground floor with pamment floors throughout, underfloor heating and a gorgeous wood burner. There are exposed original beams all through the building. Outside there is a patio, an enclosed area of gravel and a large garden all of which have dog proof fencing. The garden also has an electric hook up point for a caravan or camper van.
Trunch has a well stocked village shop/post office and a dog friendly pub (both only a two minute walk away) and the beaches are easily accessible a few minute's drive away. The nearest, Mundesley, has been given Blue Flag status in for 2014/15. It's an ideal location from which to explore much of North Norfolk.
Holmes House is one of our most popular and dog friendly houses but by no means 'doggy'! It provides very peaceful and comfortable holiday accommodation for 4 people in 2 bedrooms with 2 bath/shower rooms and additional sleeping for extra guests.
The house is situated at the end of a short track which ends at a junction of the Weavers Way footpath so walks from the door are very easy.
The area is adjacent to village heath and common land, rich in birds and wildlife. No passing traffic and only 3 other dwellings in the lane make it a wonderfully peaceful spot.
