This really is a very special, exceptionally stylish, self-catering holiday cottage for a couple desiring comfort, tranquillity and a cosy retreat for two with accommodation all on one level. It is in the perfect location for experiencing the Norfolk Broads, Norwich, the North Norfolk coast, and all that a holiday in Norfolk has to offer.
Open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. The living area features a log-burning stove, dining table and chairs, a comfy sofa and armchair, flat-screen television with Freeview, DVD player and an iPod dock. A large glazed area with double doors leads into the private patio and enclosed garden.
The cottage kitchen has a window overlooking the pond and gardens and contains plenty of worktop, cupboard space and integrated Bosch appliances. The equipment includes a dishwasher, induction hob, oven ,extractor, full-size fridge-freezer, washing machine and microwave.

An additional source of enjoyment at East View Farm Holiday Cottages is Ashmanhaugh Light Railway.
This is a private 7¼ inch gauge railway set in the fields behind the holiday cottages and run by a group of amateur enthusiasts. It was begun in 2002 and now has three circuits of track, a signal box, platform, carriage shed, ticket office, and a wildlife pond surrounded by wildflowers.
They hold six Open Days each year: on the first Sunday in the month from May until October from 2.00pm to 5.00 pm (weather permitting).
There are steam, diesel and electric trains to ride and refreshments too.
If you are looking for a different kind of present, how about a steam driving course? The ALR team are often there on Wednesdays and Saturdays, so you may get a ride on a train if you are lucky!
