Fishers Quay is a lovely riverside town house cottage, located in Horning on the River Bure in the Norfolk Broads. The centre of the village complete with its shops, hotel, pubs, cafes and restaurants, is just a gentle stroll away.
However, Fishers quay will be hard to tear yourself away from. It offers not only panoramic views over the river, marshes and a birds eye view of boat life, it is very well equipped. Fishers Quay sleeps six people in three en-suite bedrooms and there is a small room with a foldaway bed in case of extra visitors.
There is a ground floor terrace and a jetty, great for those fishermen of the family to take their time teasing the fish and there is a BBQ to enjoy.
To take advantage of the views, there is a glass fronted balcony, which is safe for children, on the first floor where you can take a seat and watch the world go by on the River Bure or in the Marina whilst sipping a beverage or enjoying breakfast or lunch.
The ground floor has one en-suite bedroom with a double bed and great views down the River. The ensuite contains a shower cubicle, wash basin and toilet.
The first floor houses a fully fitted kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen has a 4 ring hob, full oven and grill, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle and toaster. There are plentiful pots/pans,cutlery/crockery and glass ware too. The dining area has a table and chairs and leads onto a comfortable lounge with two leather sofas, a reclining chair and a thirty two inch flat screen TV complete with Freeview and DVD player. There is also a wash room with toilet and basin to save the journey downstairs.
Up on the top floor you will find two further ensuite bedrooms. One has a queen sized double and the other room boasts twin single beds. Both the en-suites have a bath with shower screens, toilet and basin and of course the view from the Master bedroom are stunning.
If you can tear yourself away from Fishers quay, there is plenty to do. The beautiful City of Norwich is 8 miles away, a great place to explore, shop,eat and drink.
Only 1 mile from the house is a theme park called Bewilderwood which is heaven for small children, and actually, everyone. Two miles further on is Wroxham Barns, a popular Boutique shopping and Entertainment Area

For more excitement Great Yarmouth with all a major seaside resort has to offer, is only 13 miles away. Other places of interest in the area include the stunning North Coast of Norfolk, with quaint villages, lovely beaches and many interesting walks and drives.
