Tom and Jo are delighted to welcome you to what they describe as their ‘little piece of paradise’. As a local couple who absolutely love Norfolk and camping, they decided to combine the two! The campsite has generous space for tents on wonderfully flat grassy pitches.
Hickling Campsite also has five Shepherd huts handmade by the super clever and creative Hickling Campsite team for your authentic experience (sheep not included!). We also have an impressive futuristic pod for hire, equipped with plug sockets and lights!
The Huts and Pod are available for hire from May to September, when the campsite is open. Stay for one night, or two weeks, the choice is all yours!
There are plenty of braziers dotted around the site for each pitch to use and gather around while cooking the all-important barbeque, and toasting marshmallows. Firewood is available to purchase onsite.
Hickling Campsite is the perfect base, as once you have pitched your tent and settled in, you can get busy discovering how wonderful this part of Norfolk really is. A short cycle ride takes you to secluded, vast sandy beaches and a short walk finds you at Hickling’s quaint, traditional village pub, The Greyhound and right on the edge of the broad, the Pleasure Boat Inn.
