The Greyhound Inn is a proper village pub in Hickling in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, serving good food in its restaurant and real ales.
Why not pop in for something to eat or drink en route to the nature reserve, famous for its cranes and swallow-tail butterflies, or a beach walk to see the seals at Horsey and of course dogs are very welcome too.
We serve Build-Your-Own-Burgers, great steaks, home-made pies and vegetarian, gluten free and special dietary needs are all catered for.
During the summer months, our Award-Winning Garden to the rear, or sun-trap terrace to the front allows you to relax and enjoy the sunshine and perhaps a cappuccino, latte, hot chocolate or well kept real ales.
For those visitors who need to stay in touch with what is happening in the world, we have free WiFi.
We enjoy close links with both the Norfolk Naturalist Trust and the Norfolk Wildlife Trust who run and maintain the 1200 or so acres of Nature Reserve here in Hickling.
A Wildlife Book is maintained at the Greyhound of creatures both great and small spotted in our award winning garden, as well as all of the surrounding area, varying from Butterflies of all types, to flocks of Cranes and Marsh Harriers.
