Acle

Acle

Acle is a small market town situated on the River Bure in the Norfolk Broads. Acle has a general high street full of shops, cafes, banks and a post office and there is a  vets and a doctors surgery. There are several good local pubs and restaurants offering locally brewed ales with great home-cooked food to dine out and enjoy an evening meal. It has the only bridge that crosses the River Bure between Wroxham and Great Yarmouth and is at the southern part of the North Broads from which you can follow the river upstream to Wroxham or continue downstream to Great Yarmouth.
