This small reserve provides views over Rockland Broad, the River Yare, reedbeds and open grazing marshes, via a wheelchair-friendly path.
A hide overlooks the Broad, where in spring and summer,
Kingfishers and Great Crested Grebes can be seen. Along the path, Wetland Warblers can be seen and Barn Owls often hunt. There are no toilets or visitor facilities.
Please note: Most of the land at Rockland Marshes is not owned by the RSPB and is used for multiple activities by other groups. On Fridays and Saturdays local wildfowling groups use Rockland Broad for shooting. Reserve visitors may wish to avoid Fridays and Saturdays in the early morning and evenings between early September and late Januray for a quiet visit.
Opening times Open at all times.
Entrance charges Free, but donations to help us continue our work here are welcome.
Information for dog owners Dogs are only allowed on public footpaths and bridleways
