Mill Farm Barns

Mill Farm Barns are situated on the outskirts of Winterton-on-sea, which boats wonderful sandy beaches, marram dunes and an amazing amount of wildlife, close to the Norfolk Broads National Park.

There are two barns, Eco Barn and Hay Barn which sleep 8 and 4 in contemporary stylish luxury. Both barns are child and pet friendly offer the perfect location for a self-catering holiday with friends or family.

Eco Barn - Sleeps 8

This lovely gracefully furnished self catering eco property comfortably sleeps eight adults and caters for infants too and is designed for maximum comfort and practicality.

The open plan area offers plenty of living space, a huge kitchen and a dining area perfect for large groups. Three of the four bedrooms can be arranged as king size doubles or twins, with one additional twin room.

There is an enclosed south-facing courtyard garden is perfect for the sun worshiper, ideal for keeping small children in view and for dining alfresco. The setting sun as well as the stunning views fcan be seen rom the Juliette balcony. There is free Wi Fi throughout.

Under floor heating makes the barn cosy and because there is a bedroom, bathroom, living space and kitchen downstairs, this makes the Eco barn perfect for wheelchair users or guests with accessibility needs.

Hay Barn - Sleeps 2

The cute Hay Barn provides couples with the same contemporary and graceful interior and design and is the perfect base from which to explore Winterton on Sea and theNorfolk Coast.

The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner has a newly fitted and well equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge and microwave. A widescreen internet enabled TV, DVD player and ipod dock are also provided. There is a dining table with 4 chairs and comfortable sofa.

The bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables, chest of draws and some hanging space. The shower room has shower, WC and wash basin. The sofa can be set up as a sofa bed if required.

Guests have an enclosed outside seating area with barbeque. The Hay Barn has views out to the west across the drive towards the paddocks and fields beyond. The accommodation has underfloor heating throughout and will accept up to 2 well behaved dogs.

The Hay Barn has wide doorways, so is suitable for guests with limited mobility, though there is a step up to the shower. We provide feather duvets and pillows, sheets, duvet covers (including for sofa bed if required), towels and tea towels but we ask guests to bring their own beach and dog towels.

The barn has low level external lighting, triggered by movement that comes on at dawn and dusk.

Quality duvets and pillows are provided throughout, together with fluffy towels and blackout blinds in all bedrooms, hand soap and toilet paper in all bathrooms.

We have free car parking with space for 5 cars opposite the barn. The barn is across an un-adopted gravel track from the car park.

We also offer our guests some special touches at no extra cost such as a Welcome Basket– stocked with local food, seasonal goods and local treats, home grown herbs and vetables from our organic kitchen garden, kitchen essentials, a DVD and book library, a starter pack of logs with kindling and last but not least, a full range of children and baby equipment including stair gate, high chairs and a couple of spre pushchairs and bikes.
